How to Activate Microsoft Office Home on Windows 11 Pro (Product Code)

Even if your PC is running Windows 11 Pro, you can still activate Microsoft Office Home normally. Office licensing is independent of the Windows edition.

What You Need Before Activation

• A valid Microsoft Office Home product key
  (25 characters, e.g. XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX)

• A Microsoft Account (Outlook / Hotmail / Live)

• Stable internet connection

• A PC running Windows 11 Pro

Step 1: Redeem the Office Home Product Key

1. Open a web browser and go to:
   https://setup.office.com

2. Sign in with your Microsoft Account
    This account will permanently own the Office Home license

3. Enter your 25-character product key

4. Select Country/Region and Language

5. Confirm to add Microsoft Office Home to your account

 After this step, the Office Home license is linked to your Microsoft Account.

Step 2: Download & Install Office Home

1. Go to Microsoft Account → Services & subscriptions

2. Find Microsoft Office Home

3. Click Install

4. Download and run the installer

5. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete installation

 Office will install automatically on your Windows 11 Pro PC.

Step 3: Activate Office Home

1. Open any Office app (Word or Excel)

2. When prompted, sign in with the same Microsoft Account used above

3. Office will activate automatically

 You should see the message:
Product Activated

How to Check Activation Status

1. Open Word (or any Office app)

2. Go to File → Account

3. Under Product Information, you should see:
   Microsoft Office Home – Activated
