How to Activate Microsoft 365 Personal (Product Code)

Microsoft 365 Personal is activated using a 25-character product key and is linked to your Microsoft Account. This subscription is designed for one user and can be used across multiple devices.

What You Need Before Activation

• A valid Microsoft 365 Personal product key
  (Example: XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX)

• A Microsoft Account (Outlook / Hotmail / Live)

• Stable internet connection

• PC, Mac, tablet, or smartphone ready for installation

Step 1: Redeem the Microsoft 365 Personal Product Key

• Open a web browser and go to:
  https://setup.office.com

• Sign in with your Microsoft Account
   This account will manage and own the Microsoft 365 Personal subscription

• Enter your 25-character product key

• Select Country/Region and Language

• Confirm to add Microsoft 365 Personal to your account

 Once completed, the subscription is linked to your Microsoft Account.

Step 2: Download & Install Microsoft 365 Apps

• Go to Microsoft Account → Services & subscriptions

• Locate Microsoft 365 Personal

• Click Install

• Download and run the installer

• Follow the on-screen instructions

 Microsoft 365 apps (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.) will install automatically.

Step 3: Activate Microsoft 365 Personal

• Open any Microsoft 365 app (Word, Excel, PowerPoint…)

• Sign in with the same Microsoft Account

• Activation will occur automatically

 You should see:
Subscription Activated

How to Check Activation Status

• Open any Office app

• Go to File → Account

• Under Product Information, you should see:
  Microsoft 365 Personal – Active
